The response to this year's Call for Papers was very strong, and the review process will certainly yield an abundance of great learning opportunities for this year's 14th Annual National Lifespan Respite Conference. The theme of the conference this year is diversity, and will provide three informative tracks of workshops and presentations related to the Many Faces of Respite:
This Conference will offer valuable, up-to-date information for families, professionals and other stakeholders related to respite for caregivers. Conference keynote speakers and breakout sessions will offer opportunities to “connect the dots” between Lifespan Respite and other programs and initiatives that support caregivers. We'll also have a special emphasis on issues related to caregivers of veterans, and the VA will be providing timely updates on new support programs they are launching. The Arizona Caregiver Coalition looks forward to welcoming all those presenters that are able to take advantage of this opportunity to come to sunny Arizona this November to share their innovative best practices related to respite and give others the chance to benefit and learn from what they've accomplished. ALL SUBMITTALS WILL BE REVIEWED BY JUNE 24. If you have questions, please contact Dorothy Kelly. An event celebrating “The Year of the Family Caregiver” ![]() |
